No shoes on any matted area (keep the outside germs outside) and no barefeet (or sock feet) on the tile. If you step outside the training area without your shoes, please do not step back on the mats (sanitize your feet first).
Upon entering and leaving the training area- please bow.
Upon arriving to the Dojang, please bow to instructors and fellow students (it is how we say hi).
Please answer each other with "sir" and "ma'am". We are promoting an environment of respect.
Noise on the training floor should be kept to a minimum during class times (let the instructors be heard).
Please leave all instruction & coaching to the teaching staff.
Students must wear the approved ITF Taekwon-Do Uniform to class. If you outgrow, damage or lose your uniform - another uniform can be arranged for purchase.
Your uniform must be kept clean (when you arrive to class). The uniform should be washed after each training for hygiene, health and courtesy reasons.
Treat fellow students with HONOR and RESPECT. Be happy for everyone's accomplishments and victories. Their victories are also your victories.
Our Academy Rules
Our Academy's Rules (parents, guests, visitors)
Please control noise levels. We encourage talking and socializing - while enjoying our waiting area, please respect the volume and tone so others can enjoy respectable conversation.
Please treat all members and visitors with respect. If we want our students to develop respect - we need to first speak and act respectfully and treat people as such.
Please respect the "no shoes" rule on the mat. Our students are training in their bare feet and we would like them to have a clean training area as much as possible.
Please remember to clean up after yourself before leaving (throw out any coffee cups, napkins etc). Let's do our part making the area comfortable for everyone.
Please leave all instruction & coaching to the teaching staff. (no coaching from the sidelines). If you have an emergency and need to leave early, please let the office manager know. We will bring the student to the front.
