The Green Belt Ranks

Green Belt (6th Grade)

The green belt journey is an exciting one.  This time, when you change belt colors you feel a significant difference not only in appearance, but you notice high level skills that were not there in previous levels.  This is the time where you register and become a member of the National Association as well.

Things start to slow down now as each student must wait at least 6 months before attempting to grade for their next level and each student wil need an additional tournament and seminar credit before advancing to blue belt.

The blue stripe level also has a certain excitement to it as the 5th grade numerically is halfway between 10th grade (white belt) and 1st grade (black stripe).

The Red Belt (2nd Grade)

WOW,  this is amazing. You have achieved your Red Belt!

As you get closer to your BIG GOAL (Black Belt), you need to make sure you are in the best possible shape and there is more to it...  This is a level where you will now start to learn about "giving back".

Junior students will look at you as a ROLE MODEL.  Your energy, knowledge and skill will either motivate them to work hard or will discourage them into quitting.  It is important to be a good influence!
