The White Belt Ranks

White Belt (10th Grade)

The white belt is the first of 10 color belt levels in Taekwon-Do.  This is the official beginning of your Taekwon-Do journey.  You should train at this level from 8 to 12 weeks minimum.

Yellow Stripe (9th Grade)

The yellow stripe is the second level heading towards black belt.  It takes around 3 months to achieve this level from when you started your journey in Taekwon-Do.

The White Belt (10th Grade)

Welcome to Warrior Code Taekwon-Do Academy.  Thank you for choosing our school.  We know there are a lot of choices out there and we are looking forward to working with you and helping you crush your goals.

The Yellow Stripe (9th Grade)

Congratulations on your first promotion.  The first step, although small is the most important one as it sets the tone and gives you an idea of what your path to black belt will look like.


This level will be more challenging that white belt, because the techniques will be more physically demanding.  The techniques are also a lot more fun.
